African Yoga was founded by Pablo Khonsu Imani. It uses rhythmic movements (hudu) to help warm up the body in order to perform postures (sayunaats). The hudu allows the body to naturally create heat with movements of the elements; earth – ta, water – ma/mu, fire – ra/re and air – shu.

The practice focuses on body and breath awareness, the development of flexibility, mobility, strength and endurance, uniting the body, mind and spirit for health and wellbeing.
